Schedule of Activities
We gather for socialization, a business meeting and a speaker on the second Wednesday of the month of the school year (September to April). Please note that our General Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month while our December Party and May Tea are held on the first Wednesday of those months.
During the 2021-2022 academic year we used ZOOM to keep in touch with our members. That proved so popular that most of our meetings are now hybrid meetings. We have returned to the Cohen House, home of the Rice University Faculty Club!
Zoom meeting information is emailed to members each month.
Members are encouraged to bring guests of any gender.
Except for our December and May special events at 2:00p.m., our morning schedule is:
- 9:30 a.m. – Socializing
- 10:00 a.m. – Guest Speaker
- 11:00 a.m. – Business Meeting and Final announcements
When we meet for our on-campus meetings at the Faculty Club, we often stay for lunch. Tables are reserved for those who wish to stay for lunch. If members of the Rice community who are not members of the Faculty Club wish to stay for lunch, they can pay via credit card.
